Sustainability — cone bags as paper packaging

Paper cone bags are ecologically advantageous, as they are fully recoverable in the paper recycling stream and contain no multi-material composites.

Paper recycling

Pure paper cone bags are recycled via the paper collection system (blue bin). Heavily soiled bags (e.g. with grease) belong in the residual-waste bin.

Parchment substitute and recycling

Wet-strength cone bags remain recyclable as paper despite the impregnation, provided they contain no PE coating. For heavily impregnated papers, processing takes place via the waste-paper system.

FSC certification

On request we supply cone bags made from FSC-certified paper — proof of sustainable forestry.

PPWR conformity from 2030

Paper cone bags already meet the EU Packaging Regulation today and are among the most sustainable packaging forms in direct sales.
