What are small ziplock bags?
Small ziplock bags are the mini variant for every application where standard formats are too large. We define anything up to 100×150 mm as "small", with a smallest standard size of 40×60 mm – roughly the size of a matchbox. They are made from clear LDPE film and feature the classic press-seal closure.
Typical applications: hobby and craft assortments, mini jewellery parts, coins, stamps, collectibles, mini screws and SMD components. In the hobby, craft and assortment sectors they are indispensable.

How small do ziplock bags come?
The smallest standard formats start at approx. 40 × 60 mm and 50 × 70 mm – ideal for the tiniest parts. Above these are the common mini sizes of 60 × 80, 70 × 100 and 80 × 120 mm. The measurement refers to width × height, excluding the closure strip.
What are small ziplock bags suitable for?
For screws, beads, jewellery, SMD components, pills, samples, replacement small parts and assortment sets. Anywhere small quantities need to be sorted, labelled and stored resealably.
What film thickness makes sense for small bags?
The standard is 50 microns; for sharp-edged small parts (screws, splinters) 60–90 microns, so the zip profile is not forced open and the film is not punctured. For soft contents, 50 microns is sufficient.
Are small ziplock bags food-grade?
The food-grade LDPE variant is certified to EU 10/2011 – relevant for spice samples, tea samples or small quantities of food. Declaration of conformity on request.
Are there small bags with a write-on panel?
Yes – a white write-on panel lets you note the contents, batch or size directly with a ballpoint pen. Handy for assortments and small laboratory or spare-part quantities.
Are small ziplock bags suitable for tablets/medicines?
For storage and sorting, yes, in food-grade quality. The dispensing of medicines is subject to additional pharmaceutical requirements – please ask us about certified pharma variants.
How often can the bags be resealed?
The press-to-close zip profile withstands many hundreds of opening cycles. On small bags the closure stays reliable as long as the profile remains clean (no crumbs or powder in the zip).
