Recycling film packaging is an important step worldwide to reduce plastic waste and keep valuable raw materials in circulation. Everyone can contribute: carefully separate film packaging from other waste, remove food residues and dispose of it via the designated collection systems. Modern recycling plants transform clean material into new granulate, from which packaging, bags or technical films are made again. Every correctly disposed-of film means less waste in nature, less resource consumption and a cleaner future – everywhere in the world.

The PP Adhesion Seal Bags with Bevelled Flap and Air Hole 50 microns are crystal-clear presentation bags made from polypropylene, whose self-adhesive flap can be closed without equipment and whose air hole lets trapped air escape. With 50 microns thickness and brilliant PP transparency, they are the first choice when textiles or printed products are to lie flat, crease-free and undistorted in the packaging.

What the PP adhesion seal bags with air hole are used for

The small vent hole makes these bags the standard solution wherever flat contents are stacked and presented. When you insert textiles or print products, the bevelled, self-adhesive flap pushes the residual air out instead of trapping an annoying air cushion.

  • Textiles — shirts, T-shirts, knitwear lie flat and crease-free
  • Print and printed products — cards, printed matter, brochures without an air bulge
  • Presentation at the POS — crystal-clear view of colour and material

Material and properties: why PP instead of PE

Polypropylene is more crystal-clear and dimensionally stable than soft LDPE and gives the packaging a premium, crisp appearance. This is exactly what you need for visible presentation: PP shines, stays dimensionally stable and lets the contents show through brilliantly. The bags are a PP monomaterial, so they run cleanly sorted in the PP recycling stream and are designed to be PPWR-compliant (recyclability from 2030).

Choosing with or without air hole

The air hole decides the suitability: if you need venting when flat-packing textiles and print, this version is right. If, on the other hand, the bag should close dust-tight and without an air hole — for example for powder, small parts or spices — you reach for the LDPE or rLDPE version without air hole. PP scores on presentation and transparency, soft PE on suppleness and tear resistance.

The bevelled flap in processing

The diagonally cut flap makes filling easier for you: the opening is easier to pick up, the contents slide in cleanly, and when closing, the tab lies exactly over the seam. You peel off the protective strip, press on the self-adhesive flap and in one move have a secure, see-through closure — entirely without a sealing device, tape or additional labels. This keeps the packing fast and consistent even at larger quantities.

Frequently asked questions about the PP adhesion seal bags with air hole

What is the air hole in these PP bags good for?

The air hole lets trapped air escape. When you insert flat textiles or printed products and close the self-adhesive flap, without venting an air cushion forms that inflates the bag. The small hole ensures that the bag stays flat and stackable.

Why PP instead of LDPE for this version?

PP is more crystal-clear and dimensionally stable than soft LDPE. For presenting textiles and print, the premium, crisp appearance with full see-through counts — and for that, polypropylene is the better material. If, on the other hand, you need a soft, particularly tear-resistant bag, the LDPE versions are more suitable.

How does the adhesion seal work?

The bevelled flap carries a self-adhesive strip. You peel off the protective strip, fold the tab over and press it down — done. No equipment, no tape and no welded seam are needed.

Is the 50-micron thickness sufficient for textiles?

Yes, 50 microns is the suitable thickness for flat, light contents such as textiles and printed products. For sharp-edged or heavy contents, a thicker film is advisable — but that is rarely necessary with these presentation bags.

Are the bags food-grade?

This PP version is designed for the presentation of textiles and print; food conformity is not declared here. For food packing, choose the LDPE adhesion seal bags, which are certified to EC 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011. You receive declarations of conformity on request.

Does the air hole keep the bag dust-tight?

No, due to the air hole the bag is not dust- or powder-tight. It expressly serves to vent when packing flat goods. If you need a closed bag without an air hole, take the LDPE or rLDPE version without air hole.

How do I dispose of the PP bags after use?

The bags consist of pure polypropylene and belong in the recycling bag. As a monomaterial they are cleanly sortable and recoverable in the German PP recycling stream and designed to be PPWR-compliant.

Which sizes are available and where do I find them?

You can see all available sizes directly in the order table at the top of this page, including the tiered prices. We make special sizes on request with a minimum order quantity.

Can I have these PP bags with my own branding?

Yes, printing with your logo or motif is possible in flexo printing. Since PP is crystal-clear, a print shows particularly cleanly. We clarify minimum order quantity and lead time individually — free samples are available before your first order.
