The kraft paper stand-up pouch is a doypack with a natural paper exterior and a built-in bottom gusset that deliberately conveys an organic and artisan look. It is food-grade in accordance with EC 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011 and stands securely on the shelf when filled.

Material and properties
Kraft paper is left natural, tear-resistant and takes prints in a matt, true-colour finish. The inside is laminated to a food-grade standard, so that powders and low-fat dry goods are also packed securely. Paper is not designed for a hard aroma or oxygen barrier like aluminum – instead it scores on feel and environmental image.
Kraft paper or transparent – when this version fits
Go for kraft paper when the brand image is meant to be “natural” and the contents do not need to be visible. If the customer should see the contents, you combine kraft paper with a window or reach for transparent film. After use, pure kraft paper belongs in the waste paper bin; we provide FSC certification on request.

Kraft paper conveys your environmental promise through the feel alone: natural brown, matt and understated. The matt surface takes print motifs in flexo or gravure printing in true colour, so that logos and claims look high-quality. Is the kraft paper bag coated on the inside?
Yes, the inside is laminated to a food-grade standard so that dry and powdery contents are packed securely and in compliance with EC 1935/2004. On the outside, the natural paper look is retained.
Why kraft paper instead of transparent film?
Because of the look: the natural brown, matt surface conveys a sustainable, artisan brand image. If the contents should be visible, choose the version with a window instead.
Can I pack coffee in it?
Yes, well suited for ground or already degassed coffee. For freshly roasted coffee you should reach for the kraft paper version with an aroma protection valve, so that the CO₂ can escape.
How does the paper take a print?
Matt and true to colour. Custom brand printing in flexo or gravure printing is possible; on the natural surface, logos look particularly high-quality. We discuss minimum order quantity and lead time individually.
How do I dispose of the kraft paper bag?
Pure kraft paper belongs in the waste paper bin. If the bag is heavily soiled, for example with grease, choose the residual waste. We provide FSC certification on request.
Does the pouch stand upright when filled?
Yes, the bottom gusset forms a firm base when filled, so that the pouch stands securely on the shelf.
Is the pouch resealable?
Yes, via the zip with 30–50 opening cycles without loss of function. The tear notch ensures a clean edge on first opening.
Is kraft paper suitable for freezing?
We advise against it. Paper absorbs moisture and then loses strength; for freezing, the PE versions are better suited.
Do I get samples in advance?
Yes, we send samples of the standard sizes on request so you can assess the feel, thickness and print result before ordering.
