Material and compostability

The relevant standard is EN 13432 for compostable packaging; whether industrial or home composting applies depends on the specific structure – we will send you the certified details on request. The barrier is designed for dry products with a manageable storage time.
Biodegradable or standard kraft paper – the choice
If compostability is at the heart of your brand story, this version is the right one. If, on the other hand, you need a longer shelf life or a higher barrier, the classic kraft paper, the aluminum-free or the aluminum version is better suited. Pure paper components otherwise belong in the waste paper.
Printing and handling
The natural surface takes print motifs in flexo or gravure printing in a matt, high-quality finish, which further supports the ecological brand message. Because the biodegradable layers are designed for dry products, do not fill the pouch with moist or greasy foods that would impair decomposition or storage.
