The matt white stand-up pouch is an opaque Doypack made of LDPE with a bottom gusset and a matt, anti-reflective surface – for a refined, modern shelf appearance without glossy reflections and with a pleasantly velvety feel. It is food-grade in accordance with EC 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011 and recyclable in the PE stream.

You choose it when your brand should look clean and high quality. The matt surface barely reflects, feels refined and makes prints appear calm and premium, without distracting light reflections impairing the shelf effect.

Material and surface
The material base is LDPE: soft, tear-resistant and cold-resistant down to about -40 °C, so suitable for freezing. The matt colouring makes the pouch opaque and avoids distracting glossy reflections under store lighting. Maximum aroma and oxygen protection is provided by the aluminium variant; matt white, by contrast, impresses with its premium, anti-reflective appearance.
Matt white or glossy white – the choice
Matt white looks anti-reflective, refined and modern; glossy white is the classic, colour-intense print base. If you need light protection plus coffee degassing, choose the white version with aroma protection valve. As a monomaterial, the pouch goes into the recycling bin for plastics.
Printing and processing
On the anti-reflective, light surface, print motifs look calm and premium; printing in flexo or gravure is possible and underlines the clean presentation. During filling, the LDPE film behaves softly and tear-resistantly, and the tear notch gives clean first opening. As a PE monomaterial, the pouch goes into the recycling bin for plastics and is NIR-detectable in the recycling stream. What is the difference from glossy white?
The surface: matt white is anti-reflective and looks more refined and modern, glossy white is the classic, colour-intense print base. The material base for both is LDPE.

Is matt white opaque?
Yes, the opaque matt LDPE film fully conceals the contents and offers basic light protection for sensitive dry goods.
How well can matt white be printed?
Very well. On the light, matt surface colours look calm and premium. Custom printing in flexo or gravure is possible.
Can I freeze in it?
Yes. LDPE stays flexible down to about -40 °C and is therefore suitable for freezing. The film is not designed for hot filling above around 80 °C.
Is matt white suitable for coffee?
For ground or degassed coffee, yes. For freshly roasted coffee with CO₂ release, choose the white variant with aroma protection valve.
Does the pouch stand upright when filled?
Yes, the bottom gusset forms a stable base for upright shelf presentation.
Is it resealable?
Yes, via the zip with 30–50 opening cycles, complemented by the tear notch for clean first opening.
How do I dispose of it?
In the recycling bin for plastics: pure LDPE (monomaterial), NIR-detectable in the PE recycling stream and fully recyclable.
