The white stand-up pouch with aroma protection valve is an opaque doypack made from LDPE with a bottom gusset and an integrated one-way degassing valve – for freshly roasted coffee in a bright, colour-rich printed look. The valve lets escaping CO₂ out while blocking oxygen ingress; the pouch is food-grade in line with EC 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011 and stands securely on the shelf when filled.
What the white valve variant is used for
You use it when your coffee brand has a bright, friendly appearance and the coffee is packed freshly roasted. The white background makes your label glow, while the valve provides the necessary pressure balance.

How the aroma protection valve works
The one-way degassing valve opens outwards only: outgassing CO₂ escapes, oxygen stays out. This lets you pack freshly roasted coffee directly without the pouch inflating. The white film is opaque and offers basic light protection.
White or black with valve – the choice
The white valve variant suits bright, colour-intensive brand appearances. If you need the strongest light protection, the black valve or the aluminum variant is better, since black is light-tight. As a PE mono-material, the pouch goes in the yellow recycling bag.
Printing and processing
The white background makes coloured roaster labels look vivid; printing in flexo or gravure is possible. When packing freshly roasted beans or ground coffee, the valve is already integrated, the pressure balance starts immediately and you do not need to retrofit anything. What is the aroma protection valve for?
It lets the CO₂ from freshly roasted coffee escape while blocking oxygen. This stops the pouch inflating and keeps the aroma fresh – even when packing directly after roasting.
Why the white instead of the black valve variant?
For the look: the white background makes coloured labels glow and suits bright, modern brands. For maximum light protection, choose the black or aluminum variant.
How well does white protect against light?
The solid white film is opaque and offers basic light protection, but not the full light-tightness of black or aluminum. For very light-sensitive roasts, those are better.
Does the coffee need to degas before filling?
No. Thanks to the valve, you can pack freshly roasted coffee directly; the CO₂ escapes in a controlled way and oxygen does not get in.
Does the valve let oxygen in?
No, it is a one-way valve and opens outwards only. Oxygen from outside is blocked.
Is the pouch resealable despite the valve?
Yes, via the zip with 30–50 opening cycles. This keeps the coffee protected after opening.
Does the pouch stand upright when filled?
Yes, the bottom gusset forms a stable base for presenting the coffee on the shelf.
How do I dispose of it?
In the yellow recycling bag: the pouch is made of PE mono-material and is recoverable in the PE recycling stream; the valve stays on the pouch.
Can I print my logo on it?
Yes, on white, coloured logos look especially vivid. Custom printing in flexo or gravure is possible; we clarify minimum order quantity and lead time individually.
